RAPTOR®

Design hollow point à fracturation contrôlée : ne champignonne pas. Après 1–2 in (2,5–5,1 cm) de pénétration, les Raptor de carabine (ER/FB/ESP, Safari/ESP Safari) détachent 6 lames qui rayonnent, pendant que la base poursuit sa pénétration. Les Handgun Raptor et MZL Raptor fonctionnent sur le même principe en version 4 lames (catégories dédiées).

ER Raptor® (Extended Range) : cuivre monométallique, tipped hollow point, SealTite® band, pensé chasse jusqu’à 0–600 yds (0–549 m) ; seuil de fonctionnement annoncé ≈ 1500 fps (≈ 457 m/s).

FB Raptor® (Flat Base) : laiton usiné, base plate pour gagner de la capacité d’étui (ex. 300 BLK, .458 SOCOM, 450 Bushmaster). Nombreuses versions subsoniques dans la ligne. Plutôt 0–500 yds (0–457 m).

ESP Raptor® (Enhanced System Projectile) : laiton, boat-tail, utilisable en hollow-point ou en “solide” (config réversible) avec le même chargement ; 0–500 yds (0–457 m).
