Pack

Use / positioning
65 ml oil & grease for lubrication and preservation in varied conditions. Final step after cleaning (foam) on metal surfaces and moving parts, including the barrel bore.

Formula & action
Creates a very thin, durable film; anti-static to reduce fouling/jamming. Colourless, odourless. Evaporates after the shot when applied inside the bore.

Applications & compatibility
Bore, actions, bolts, slides, friction points, exposed metal. Suitable for regular anti-corrosion protection.

Directions

  1. Clean first with Cleaning Foam.

  2. Apply Oil & Grease evenly.

  3. Allow to dry.

  4. Wipe off excess with a clean cloth.

Recommended maintenance sequence
For a consistent maintenance flow, follow with our gun oils (protection and controlled friction), add dedicated cleaning solvents for stubborn deposits, or choose complete care products to cover every step.

WELLGUN PRODUCTS

WELLGUN was created to solve a very practical problem: having a short, coherent product line truly adapted to modern firearms, instead of stacking generic cleaners that “more or less work”. The brand grew out of armourers and shooters who needed a clear, repeatable procedure that could be applied to precision rifles, handguns and semi-auto platforms alike.

The founding idea is straightforward: every product has a defined role in the “degreasing – cleaning – protection – lubrication – finishing” chain, with no gimmicks and no miracle claims, and with a level of control compatible with precision-shooting requirements.

WELLGUN’s strength lies as much in the structure of the range as in the formulas themselves:

a step-by-step architecture that covers the full maintenance cycle (degreaser, dedicated bore and internal cleaners, lubricants, exterior protection);
products designed to work together, without unwanted interactions or random build-up;
performance measured on real use: restoring fouled barrels, maintaining accuracy, and keeping the mechanics running reliably over time, rather than chasing short-term cosmetic effects;
clear, easy-to-standardise procedures, suitable for workshops, clubs and armoury management.
In short, WELLGUN brings predictability: you know what you use, why you use it, and what you can expect to see downrange.

WELLGUN is aimed at shooters and organisations who want to move away from “chemical improvisation” (generic degreasers, consumer oils, home-made mixes) and switch to a stable, documented maintenance protocol.

The range is particularly suited to:

precision and competition shooters who want to control the “maintenance” variable in their results;
hunters who need reliable, protected rifles and shotguns without spending excessive time on them;
gunsmith and shooting clubs managing a large pool of firearms and requiring procedures that are repeatable and easy to pass on.
Choosing WELLGUN means adopting a more structured approach than traditional ad-hoc cleaning: less guesswork, more control over mechanical condition and long-term consistency of the guns.

THE OIL & GREASE

Oil & Grease is the multi-purpose lubricant in the WELLGUN line: a single product that can behave like a light oil or a light grease depending on how much you apply and where you use it. It is used after bore and internal cleaning (Cleaning Foam / Inside Restorer) and before the exterior finishing step (Outside Restorer).

In practice:

  • When to use it
    Once internal parts are cleaned and thoroughly wiped dry (no solvent left), right before final reassembly and before applying Outside Restorer to external surfaces.

  • Where to use it

    • Friction and guidance surfaces: bolt / carrier rails, slides, moving bearing surfaces.

    • High-load locking and bearing points: locking lugs and seats, hinge pins, recoil-bearing shoulders.

    • Control parts: lever pivots, some accessible trigger components, safety parts (in very controlled amounts).
      Never apply it in the bore, chamber, breech face or firing pin channel, unless the firearm manufacturer explicitly recommends otherwise.

  • How to apply

    • For a “oil-like” role: use a very small amount, spread with a finger, brush or cloth to form a thin, continuous film, then wipe off any excess.

    • For a “light grease” role: load slightly more product on heavily stressed areas (lugs, hinge points, bearing rails) while still keeping a thin layer – excess grease will trap fouling and hurt consistency.

  • Expected effect
    Reduced wear, more stable cycling, fewer hard spots and malfunctions due to lack of lubrication, without turning the firearm into an oil bath that attracts dust, powder fouling and debris.

In short, WELLGUN Oil & Grease is the mechanical tuning step in the protocol: one product, applied sparingly but in the right places, to turn a clean firearm into a smooth, consistent and durable mechanism.
