PACK - WellGun Cleaning Foam – 400 ml

Category SOLVENTS SKU WEL-CF-150

WellGun Cleaning Foam uses an active chemical reaction to dissolve dirt and fouling throughout your firearm. The foam expands into hard-to-reach areas and evaporates completely, leaving surfaces clean, degreased, and corrosion-protected. Practical and easy to use daily, it's the perfect partner for WellGun Degreaser and Oil & Grease in a complete care system.

Pack

Use / positioning
400 ml aerosol cleaning foam for routine firearm care. Expands to reach tight areas, loosens fouling, and leaves a dry, degreased, corrosion-protected surface.

Formula & action
Fully evaporating foam; chemistry dissolves fouling so it wipes out easily. Biodegradable and safe for all common surfaces (metal/wood/plastic).

Applications & compatibility
Bore, chamber, action/bolt, muzzle devices, suppressor exterior, small parts. Safe on metal/wood/plastic.

Directions

  1. Degrease first with WellGun Cleaning Degreaser.

  2. Apply Cleaning Foam (expanding foam fills hard-to-reach areas).

  3. Allow to act, then brush/patch/wipe.

  4. Protect with WellGun Oil & Grease on bore and friction points.

Specifications
• Volume: 400 ml (aerosol)
• Behavior: expanding foam, fully evaporates
• Finish: dry, corrosion-protected surface

WELLGUN PRODUCTS

WELLGUN was created to solve a very practical problem: having a short, coherent product line truly adapted to modern firearms, instead of stacking generic cleaners that “more or less work”. The brand grew out of armourers and shooters who needed a clear, repeatable procedure that could be applied to precision rifles, handguns and semi-auto platforms alike.

The founding idea is straightforward: every product has a defined role in the “degreasing – cleaning – protection – lubrication – finishing” chain, with no gimmicks and no miracle claims, and with a level of control compatible with precision-shooting requirements.

WELLGUN’s strength lies as much in the structure of the range as in the formulas themselves:

a step-by-step architecture that covers the full maintenance cycle (degreaser, dedicated bore and internal cleaners, lubricants, exterior protection);
products designed to work together, without unwanted interactions or random build-up;
performance measured on real use: restoring fouled barrels, maintaining accuracy, and keeping the mechanics running reliably over time, rather than chasing short-term cosmetic effects;
clear, easy-to-standardise procedures, suitable for workshops, clubs and armoury management.
In short, WELLGUN brings predictability: you know what you use, why you use it, and what you can expect to see downrange.

WELLGUN is aimed at shooters and organisations who want to move away from “chemical improvisation” (generic degreasers, consumer oils, home-made mixes) and switch to a stable, documented maintenance protocol.

The range is particularly suited to:

precision and competition shooters who want to control the “maintenance” variable in their results;
hunters who need reliable, protected rifles and shotguns without spending excessive time on them;
gunsmith and shooting clubs managing a large pool of firearms and requiring procedures that are repeatable and easy to pass on.
Choosing WELLGUN means adopting a more structured approach than traditional ad-hoc cleaning: less guesswork, more control over mechanical condition and long-term consistency of the guns.

THE CLEANING FOAM

Cleaning Foam is the chemical bore and internal cleaner in the WELLGUN system. It is used after Cleaning Degreaser (which removes oils and loose contamination) and before lubrication with Oil & Grease in the five-step WELLGUN maintenance sequence.

In practice:

  • When to use it
    After applying Cleaning Degreaser to strip oils and loose fouling, typically right after shooting or during a full maintenance session. The foam then takes over to work on embedded carbon and combustion residues.

  • Where to use it
    Mainly bore and chamber, and any internal cavities where an expanding foam can reach. The product is described as safe on common gun surfaces and biodegradable, but its primary role is inside the firearm, on metallic internal parts.

  • How to apply

    1. Confirm the firearm is unloaded and has been pre-treated with Cleaning Degreaser.

    2. Insert the nozzle through the chamber (or carefully from the muzzle with proper protection) and inject foam until the bore and targeted areas are filled.

    3. Allow the foam to expand and react: the chemical action breaks down fouling created by firing.

    4. Push out the foam and dissolved dirt using the appropriate tools (brush, bore mop, patches, cloth) until patches come out clean.

    5. Let the surface finish drying/evaporating; Cleaning Foam leaves the metal degreased and corrosion-inhibited, not oily.

    6. Follow up with WELLGUN Oil & Grease on the bore (very thin film) and on friction-exposed metal parts.

  • Expected effect
    A chemically clean bore, including hard-to-reach sections where mechanical tools alone struggle, with a dry, protected surface ready for controlled lubrication. This is the WELLGUN product designed for regular, repeatable bore cleaning between shooting sessions.

PRECISION CLEANING

Active foam that clings to bores and parts. It expands into tight areas to loosen carbon, copper and firing residues without running.

SAFE FOR FIREARM & USER

ULTRA-PRECISE APPLICATION

Fine straw lets you inject foam exactly where it’s needed (bore, chamber, bolt recess). Less product, more efficiency, zero waste.

TIME SAVER, PRO RESULTS

Less brushing and fewer passes—the foam does the work. A full clean in a few simple cycles.

CONSISTENT, CONTROLLED ACTION

Foam stays in place and works evenly across the surface. Controlled dwell time for repeatable cleaning after every session.

REMOVES STUBBORN FOULING

CLEAN SURFACE, READY TO LUBE
